Kārumnieki guest house: a place where relaxation becomes an adventure

Kārumnieki guest house by day: a dark timber house with a terrace, a balcony and solar panels on the roof

Kārumnieki is a cosy, warm guest house right on the edge of the forest. Here nature meets homeliness, and the everyday rush stays outside the door.

Everyone feels at home at Kārumnieki, whatever their age, their line of work or the weather. Joy, smiles, conversation and jokes fill the place, and in spring a special “loud silence” rings all around: birdsong that reminds you how close nature is.

Here everyone can find their own way to relax and enjoy time with the people who matter to them.

On the ground floor there is a hall for up to 45 guests with its own kitchen. The tables can stand in one long row or be spread across the whole hall, so it hosts weddings, milestone birthdays, seminars, corporate events and team games.

By arrangement we provide catering, musicians and an event host. There is a fireplace at the end of the hall, and beyond the big windows are birches and a meadow.

A bedroom with a wooden bed and a dark brown wall

Upstairs there are bedrooms with beds and floor mattresses, where you can get a proper night’s sleep after a long day. After the party there is no need to drive home straight away, because we will have the beds made up for you!

There are also showers here and a red bathroom with a jacuzzi. Bed linen and towels are provided.
